What i wish someone told me about Assets
An asset is anything that generates money to you, without labour or time. An asset operates outside initial labour and time and has the ability to continue to produce cashflow after your initial cost of acquisition.
Any asset you acquire should be expected to contribute something back. The behaviour of an asset should be such that it contributes either:
A. Cashflow,
B. Appreciation and or
C. Strategetic leverage.
An example of this is a rental property, or strategic leverage(debt), index fund or ETF portfolio, each represents capital that continues after initial purchase.
Concentrate on asset acquisition and ownership and you will be wealthy..
